WHAT FUELS YOUR STORY?
There are two narratives that you can engage in for your daily living. The default narrative is the one Satan wants you to participate in. It is one based on isolation (living apart from God all or most of the time) that serves Satan’s purpose to distract and/or discourage you and ultimately to prevent you from doing Kingdom work for your growth to, in, and with Jesus Christ and/or to prevent you from doing Kingdom work to encourage others to come to Jesus. It is a narrative that is based on self based inner and outer conversation; negative self talk; external negative talk absorbed into our inner self; and grumbling about the situation, life and circumstances. All of these aligned with advancing you in Satan’s narrative. That is why God instructs us through Scripture to capture our thoughts and make them obedient to Jesus; to think of things that are positive, praise worthy, and excellent (our thinking aligned with God); to renew our mind daily (cleansing it of the filth caused by our flesh nature and our flesh thinking); and to lean each day into God’s fresh mercy and grace. All of this designed to put us (back) into God’s narrative in a purposeful and intentional way on a daily basis and take us out of Satan’s narrative that it based on isolation which leads to his domination of our narrative. Pay attention to which narrative you are participating and advancing in your daily living.
