THE KEY

Easter is a special family holiday and even more special when you pull back the lens to include God who is the Father of our “one people” family. It is about a Father’s (God’s) love for his children (us) by providing the key to life (little “l”) and the key to Life (capital “L”). A key to life that gives life (little “l”) purpose and it the promise of Life (capital “L”) that is bigger than us and bigger than life (little “l”). He provided the sacrifice of Jesus to fulfill all that was spoken for in the Old Testament and provides the key (Jesus) that guarantees that all is done (complete forgiveness and forever acceptance to the family of God for all people) because of His works and His sacrifice on the cross. Jesus is the key that completes the reason for our existence. The key of coming back to Him no matter where we have been or where we are. An instantaneous transportation to being forgiven people given Life so we can be forgiving people living life. Easter is remembrance that He (Jesus) did what was needed to ensure that we receive the key to Paradise (Heaven) as a free gift which we did not deserve. That His crucification was the key to serving as a complete and perfect sacrifice for what He did not deserve but voluntarily did for us. That makes it incredible special for without it, we would be lost people left to ourselves in this life (little “l”) without the privilege of Life (capital “L”). Happy Easter to God’s entire family. Blessed by the gift of Jesus dying and His resurrection so that death is defeated and the key to Life is provided for His people.
