GROWING OUR BRAIN
It is clear to us the solutions at hand to pursue physical health. Solutions that are based on diet and physical plans for a path of health, a growing of our physical health. Our brain is a passenger in this quest for physical health as we go to the gym and we manage our diet. We use our brain to talk to ourselves in our pursuit of physical fitness. We motivate ourselves in what we say as we work out. The question is what are you saying to your brain beyond the motivation self speak that we do for our physical fitness. Are you being purposeful and mindful in your self speak? Studies have shown that our brain “grows” with positive thoughts, gratefulness and purpose. Prayers is the fitness solution that gives us the path to have a conversation rather than just speak to yourself. It takes us from self talk to conversations that has God in your presence. A conversation that transcends it from just motivational self talk to a conversation where you can ask questions and get a perspective that is beyond yourself. Prayer is so much about recognizing what we have and having inner eyes to being grateful to create a healthier perspective for our external eyes. Prayer is a celebration that we are never alone and God is always with us. Prayer is about living a life of heaven now that is a life guaranteed with God when our time is over in this world. Prayer is a fitness regiment for our brain that is holistically impactful for our thought life, our word life, and our physical life of action. Prayer is a privilege to converse with God and grow our brain.
