Plans

Father, thank You for Your plans for me, this world, and the people around me.  All of it working in perfect harmony in the mastery of Your plan even when we don’t recognize it as perfect harmony.  Lord, guide me in my plans for yours.  It is ok to make them, as long as I allow You room to overrule me with Your plans.  Our nature is self sufficiency, rebellion, self preservation and self empowerment and therefore it is not natural for us to give You that room, to give You the space to overrule us (in our plans).  To be accepting to this and trust Your planned outcome (though they are not what we planned for) which we cannot clearly see.  Father, Your plans are always better (in the long run) because Your agenda is rooted in eternal living and life.  They are plans that are the sum of the parts and takes us from focusing on our own sum (end results) and pivoting it to the parts (our transformation in Christ Jesus; working with others for Your glory and Your kingdom; and being a living testimony and ambassador for the Good News, Jesus Christ).  Father, thank you for being the conductor of Your symphony that we all have have an instrument to play in.  Instruments that sound beautiful and organized in the score of music managed by You as the conductor.  These same instruments played within the sole control of the musician without regard to the conductor will be just noise.  Such are my plans when they aren’t allowed to be controlled and trumped by You as the conductor who knows the music score, the master plan.  Father, thank you for being my conductor and having the master plan.
