BE A GOOD STEWARD
God put us on earth through natural birth to manage this world and cultivate its riches as stewards. Stewards on behalf of God when we truly see and accept it as belonging to God (Genesis 1: 26-30). However, because of sinful hearts, we tend to rule this world and its riches out of self-interest, exploiting others to advance our self-interest for increased assets and power. Without Jesus in our life, this will be our default nature. As we transform (His teaching applied in our life transformationally not informationally), our life will be shaped by what we come to understand what kind of steward Jesus was, is, and will continue to be. A steward of giving and sharing. A steward of worship and praise to God for what he gave us in our life to be steward over. A steward of faith in believing in the unseen more than the seen. A steward that reflects the riches of Christ Jesus in my life. A steward that does not complain of lack but has hope firmly anchored in the One (God) who provided where He guides (His path for my life). Be a faithful steward to exhibit characteristics of confidence (in God), humility, trust (in Jesus), forgiveness, and obedience (to our Creator). Living thankfully and gratefully because I am a steward in my life that was gifted the greatest gift - salvation. A gift that was stewarded by Jesus to, on, and through the cross not for his self-interest but for our interest (our benefit). Be a good steward of my talents (time, abilities, and treasures) (1 Peter 4:10-11) as a thank you to Jesus for being a good steward for my life - my eternal life.
