HAPPINESS

Happiness is not found directly from pursuing happiness.  Instead, it is a choice (a decision) regardless of your circumstances (Proverbs 14:13 & Ecclesiastes 7:14-15).  It is a mindset that aims for Heaven (Kingdom thinking) to get earth (joy filled life here) which includes a slice of heaven here on Earth (Heaven reflected in your living and your attitude and mindset) (Psalm 37:3-4).  However, if you have a mindset that aims for earth (pursuing happiness here on earth) and you aim for Heaven (Kingdom thinking), you will get neither but instead a life of chaos pulled by the emotions of superficial happiness.  It is instead having fundamental happiness based on what God has provided, is providing, and will provide (Proverbs 16:20).  It is not about the quantity of what He provides but the quality.  A quality aligned with your talents (time, abilities, and treasures) to multiple them, strengthen them, and give them momentum to do Kingdom work (Proverbs 3:13-18).  Choose happiness and you will have happiness in daily living with, in and through Jesus (2 Corinthians 12:10 & Philippians 4:7).  Chase happiness and you will find frustration and disappointment.
