Who is your Father?

Our external living (thoughts, words, and actions) will reflect who our father is.  By default, our father is the Devil when we are not intentional and purposeful in accepting God as our Father; surrendering to His authority as our Father; and pursuing Him in love as our Father.  The default will have us aligned with the Evil One who is the father of all lies, the great deceiver, and is centered around pride.  An alignment that will have our thoughts, words and actions influenced by the Enemy’s ways and will result in us pursuing what is part of the Enemy’s plans.  Remember, the Enemy’s core plan is to destroy you so anything that tethers you to his ways is a road to destruction in your natural life and (if you are not a Jesus follower) in your spiritual and eternal life. God as our father will tether us to His goodness.  Not that it will lead to an easy life but to a life that is a road of His abundance (plentiful  and bountiful provision) in your natural life and (if you are a Jesus follower) in your spiritual and eternal life.
