God is the source of all my blessings [READ Isaiah 25:1]. However, praising Him comes first before the blessings are fully revealed [READ Psalm 100:4-5]. It is praise that turns my heart and positions it to face the source of my praise, which is the source of my blessings - God [READ Ephesians 5:19]. When praises go up, the blessings come down [READ 2 Chronicles 20:21 & Joshua 6:1-27]. It is also praise that comes before complaining [READ Psalm 30:5]. Praise God first and then talk to Him about my complaints (in life). The praise puts my heart in the right position, and complaining to Him first gives me a biblical perspective of my complaints [READ Philippians 2:14-16]. All of these put me in the right frame of mind for all I think, do, and say [READ Ephesians 4:29]. To engage in this world with God in the center as the source of my blessings (yesterday, today, and tomorrow) and as the mediator in thought of my complaints [READ James 3:10]. God desires to transform our hearts and minds so that we will have an attitude of rejoicing and praise in our daily living [READ 1 Peter 4:9, Psalm 105:5, James 1:2, & Philippians 2:14-15].
