Reducing Stress
I can reduce my stress by replacing anger and frustration with humility and gratitude. A humility that is not a perspective of weakness but rather less of a self-perspective. I can lower my stress by adjusting my expectations to fit human nature. A human nature that is rooted in selfishness, incompleteness, and brokenness. Embracing gratitude (all the things we should be grateful for in God’s grace and mercy) gives me the fuel to feed a perspective of humility. To take my steps and turn them into steps with an attitude of forgiveness. To take those steps in the cadence of love. All I have is because of God’s plan; all I will get is according to God’s plan; and all that I do not receive is according to God’s plan. A plan that is based on glorifying Him and for my good. He gave us the biggest and most important gift of salvation (eternal life with Him) in and through Jesus. Therefore, I should always have this in mind in my moment by moment living for humility and with gratitude.
