Pursuing the Goal

The Promised Land is not a place but a person (Jesus).  Faith is not a feeling or emotion but is a trust in a person (Jesus).    Hope is not a wishful dream but is a person (Jesus).  Jesus (the Promised Land) is the end in mind (destination) and Jesus (in faith and hope) is the means to the end.  I cannot think of another thing or person who is the end in mind (the goal) while being the means to that end.  It is unique to Jesus, and it is a privilege and gift for us to get intertwined with Him as the means to the end and to be anchored to Him as our end in mind (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Hebrews%2012%3A1&version=AMP). A symbiotic intertwining (relationship) where we get the benefit of His perfection infused into our being to be our guide as our means to an (the) end.  It is an arrangement created, executed, and guaranteed by His works that I get the benefit of when I intertwine my free will into His Will (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans+5%3A3-4&version=NLT. No other can provide us the means to an end and be that end.  Only Jesus (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+Corinthians+9%3A24-27&version=ESV)!
