Provision

Father, thank you for today and providing for yesterday.  Thank you for being my provider.  You provide vision in which You ask for our cooperation.  Not because You need us but because You want us.  Thank you for delivering the most important thing in our life, Jesus.  Everything else is subordinated to the most important thing, Jesus.  You gave us the privilege and right to enjoy and use those subordinated things but call us to never promote and elevate them in importance.  That podium of most importance is strictly and specifically reserved for You.  Jesus is the first and the last.  Not only in the spectrum of time and space but also in importance.  You call us to make You first and that You are last(ing).  Everlasting.  Everything else is subject to decay and will not last.  Everything else will diminish except for You.  You offer and give us the only thing that is everlasting, You.  Thank you for the gift of You.  Thank you for lasting forever.  Thank you for being first so that we have an accurate true north.
