WHAT DOES YOUR LIFE REFLECT?

When we are living by God’s Spirit, what is seen in our life is the Fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control) [read Galatians 5:22-23].  When we are living by the desires of our sinful nature, what is seen in our life are any of the following including sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, et al [read Galatians 5:19-21].  In other words, living by the desires of our sinful nature have results that are opposite of the Fruit of the Spirit.  These natures of living are polar opposites and diametrically opposed to one another [read Galatians 5:16-17].  Our moment by moment living will reflect which spirit we are aligned to.  God’s Spirit versus our sinful nature spirit [read Romans 12:2].
