ICEBERG
What the people see about you is on the surface. The question is if your surface matches what is under the surface. In the natural, we tend to have on the surface what we want the world to see and/or what we think the world wants to see. Many times that is not consistent what is under our surface. Jesus calls for us to live integrated lives where what He is doing inside us be seen on the outside. Where our thoughts, words and actions are aligned (integrated) with the work His Spirit has done, is doing, and will do inside of us. That the internal revolution of our internal change be seen on the outside as the Fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control). Our natural way is to have an iceberg below the surface that “sinks” people, situations, and our journey. God’s way is to have deep roots below the surface that encourages people, perseveres situations, and gives us strength for our journey.
