BROKEN CAR

Scripture is the Designer (God) telling us His design and how His designs work.  Because of the on purpose missteps of sin by Man, the world has become a place not operating to God’s design and therefore not working properly.  That includes us.  We will break down (eventually) when we do not operate our life within the design that we were made for.  Without pushing into an intimate relationship with Jesus allowing the Gospel to permeate our thoughts, words, and actions; and letting the Holy Spirit (God’s Spirit) invade our inner being, we will be on the road of destruction because we are not operating our life within what He designed us for.  This is not pursuing Him to earn salvation but pursuing Him to stay in His design for our daily living.  Like a car that you use not according to its design, we will find ourselves on the side of the road with “flat tires” and/or a “blown engine.”  Aligning with Him through His Word (Bible), in right relationship with Him (prayer and fellowship), and conviction and guidance through the living Spirit in us (acceptance and surrender to Jesus) puts us in His design and we become useful for His purposes in this life.
