HELP
God cannot help us if we don’t let Him help us. Our stubbornness, need for control, and pride get in the way for us to seek God’s help and/or to let His help work in and into our life. Our tendency is to come to God with our solutions and expect Him to endorse them and act upon them as our help for us. To seek His help is to surrender both our problems and our solutions to Him and for us to be open-hearted; open-minded; and open-handed to get prompting from God in our prayer time; Word time; and fellowship time for His help which is always beyond our stubbornness, need for control, and pride. To be diligently available, without reservation, for Him to do His work and for us to do our part by taking forward steps of faith. In full trust and hope that each step with God will be steps He will use for the help we need. To not be dissuaded by the circumstances we see but be persuaded by the unseen which is God at work. We can help ourselves by letting go and letting God help us by living an active life of faith in our moment by moment living.
