The Power of the Bible

There is power in the Bible.  God’s divine power is active in His Word.  Do not underestimate how much the power of God can do in our life through the Bible. It is the place we encounter Him speaking (remember He created the world through speaking it into existence); we encounter Him as our living Lord; and we encounter His promises (the power of His commitments).  If we truly delve into the power of the Bible, His Word can examine us (like a doctor to adjust our life style) and we can examine His Word (for who God is and who God is to us for our daily living).  God is perfect in every way, giving Him the power to make up for any weaknesses we have.  We can find strength in our Lord and Savior when we engage the power of the Bible in our daily life.  I therefore pray that I will open my heart, mind, and ears to listen to God’s Word because I want the power of the living God to be in my life.  Enable me to inwardly digest Scripture to encounter my Heavenly Father for my daily living.
