THE POWER OF FAITH

There is importance and power to faith.  The importance of faith is that it puts you in alignment to God on who He is; who you are to Him; and His plan in purpose and intention for your life.  The power of faith (God’s faith active in your life) happens when we are aligned to God.  A power that spans across the spectrum from divine miracles to perseverance in our daily living (Mark 11:22-24).  It is God’s power active in our life not for our glory but for His.  As signposts of the importance of Jesus as the Way, the Truth, the Life (Philippians 2:15), God created us as vessels to bring Him glory by His Spirit (His power) working in, with, and through us but to also to make us beneficiaries of His power at work.  He does not need us to bring Him glory but He chooses us to participate in and for His glory in our free will (we choose Him) (Hebrews 11:6).  We get the privilege of honoring Him by bringing Him glory in our thoughts, words and actions and to make ourselves available for His power to work in, with, and through us (1 Corinthians 2:5).
