THE POWER OF THE CROSS

The cross and crucification demonstrates how much in love God is with us and His rescue plan for us.   The way to the cross by Jesus demonstrates His immense love for us and His commitment to us.  Our way to the cross is coming to Him in acceptance of Him.  His sacrifice on the cross is the final and only required payment to cancel (redeem) our sins (past, present and future).  Our sacrifice is at the foot of the cross by surrendering our sins to Him.  His way after the cross (resurrection) where he defeated death delivers on His promise for and to us for everlasting life.  Our way through the cross is accepting Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior and receive His everlasting life. God brought together heaven and earth in the person of Jesus on the cross to deliver on His promises for restoring us for the new heaven and earth.  To show the world in our daily living the hope and answer of Jesus; to bring heaven to earth in our thoughts, words and actions; and to be seen by others as a sign post that points to the cross, Jesus. He the only way to God; He is the real Truth and the real Life.
