DO YOUR BEST
Do your best and let God do the rest is not just a “feel good” attitude. It is the decision to have an attitude of trust that He is control (of everything); an attitude of His excellence activated in our best; and an attitude of belief (faith) that any gap beyond your best fits into God’s work for your life. He calls for you to have a vision and to live that vision (the unseen) and not our circumstances (the seen). To be the person we want to be (called to be by God) even when people around us are not doing that. Be the “good” that is missing in the world around you. That we demonstrate externally our best efforts of the excellence that God shows us internally through Scripture, prayers, and fellowship. That our best and God doing the rest will glorify Him in all I think, say and do so that I show an external attitude of trust, excellence and faith as an extension of my internal relationship with Jesus for the world around me to see. To exhibit this in both my successes and in my failures; in my joys and in my pains; and in my progress and in my setbacks. To have my attitude aligned to an unchanging God and that my best efforts in life are aligned with an omnipotent God who provides where He guides. Therefore, be the best that God calls me to be and He will be the best for what I need Him to be for me.
